The Mara Lion poisoning post with the poisoned lion video was about the first write up on our blog. Watching the wobbling lion struggling to be on its feet in this first post in every respect is now retraced by the Speckled pigeon struggling to be on its feet, yet again on its wings in this video.
The pigeon put up a spirited fight against intoxication from Furadan: difficulty in breathing hence panting, strings of mucous from its beak and operculum (nostrils) and stiffened wing and leg joints. It’s all in the following video clip.
The pigeon died. Thanks to Furadan.

It’s likely that the video was reported by someone who did not want the world to see the suffering pigeon. I think we can guess who would want this nnot to be seen in the public domain. But it doesn’t mean it didn’t happen.Keep up the good work Martin.
My peg rock dove returned home in California after just one and half hours deathly I’ll . Victoria was in a serious situation she fell from her spot flapping ,derilious gaspinp for air. Immediately I new she has taken poison, a nerve agent. I got her barely two weeks from hatching both parent poisoned and fell from the nest. I did give her ASP olive oil, milk and. Later activated. Charcoal grounds water.
She is now fine nine hours later. I despise the indiscriminate use of this so called insecticide and farmland harmless chemicals. What are the effects on us humans in the long run. I was very upset and stressed this is my baby raised her from a helpless featherless beauty to a queen she is. She flew home for help and daddy made sure she got treated. She will have to sit for the spraying season to be over before I let the idiots kill her.
