More and more effects of the China milk poisoning are becoming apparent as more zoo animals get diagnosed with kidney stones. this ordeal seems set to last since it has apparently been a concealed agenda for a while.
Two orangutans (must be what were referred to as Gorrilas), aged one and three, and a lion cub are now reported to be showing signs of kidney stones after being fed the milk powder for more than a year!
The Mail Online edition reports the details in the story Now animals fall victim to China toxic milk scandal as officials admit cover-up during Olympics.

This news is making me sick. I could say a lot more, a LOT, about China and their animal rights and wildlife conservation record but I’ll spare you. This is far from over, however.

This is indeed a tragedy. Putting the lives of children at risk is criminal. It’s absolutely frightening when you stop and think about all the foods that may contain that tainted milk…
To see the bad milk affecting innocent baby orangutans is equally if not more disturbing. Orangutans are already facing a senseless extinction at the hands of the palm oil industry in Borneo and Sumatra. Now these gentle creatures can’t even drink their milk in zoos and sanctuaries without suffering from kidney stones! What is the world coming to?
